ALLEY FLOWERS

Alley Flowers is a 50 minute multi-media song cycle drawing on Balkan and Jazz influences, clowning and visuals inspired by the work of Armenian film-maker Sergei Parajanov. Alley Flowers creates a mythical aesthetic that reflects on our relationships with each other and the planet. Pipe organ is featured in four of ten songs. Video collected at the live performance of this work is broken up into ten video segments below.

This project was generously supported through a residency at the Cumberland Weird Church, by the Cumberland Arts and Culture Society, Cumberland Village Works and many talented and generous people who helped bring it to life.
