Alley Flowers is a Balkan/Jazz influenced song cycle that is paired with an original folk tale told through live music, clowning, and theatrical imagery and text.
 
Katheryn will be in Cumberland rehearsing her ensemble in the church from Aug 23-26, performing a live concert on the 27th and recording the work on Sunday the 29th.  

It has been a scant year for music but thanks to the City of Vancouver and Burnaby there have been a handful of carefully curated opportunities to play. Now with vaccines rolling out and Covid case numbers starting to flatten, the return of person gatherings and real music events is on the horizon.

Here are some of the Covid safe events that I played over the past winter.

2020 isn’t what we expected but some really exciting ideas and innovations have come out of it all. Here are some of the fun, safe (and mostly outdoor) musical adventures that I have been having since Covid.
